Photographing the Hooded Oriole (and the Anna’s Hummingbird) at the oriole feeder
This is the scene in my garden. The oriole is back and visiting the feeder all day long. Hummingbirds visit the feeder too.

He’s back, taking to the feeder as I stand nearby. There are numerous photographs of the Hooded Oriole in my book BACKYARD BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY (Skyhorse Publishing, 2014).
It took him moments to fly over to the feeder area after I noticed him arriving on 3/18/18. He remembers this spot and he remembers me from last year.
He’s a happy oriole.
