Americana Gallery

You know it when you see it. The essence of America. A picture is worth a thousand words. In my travels about, I see images of Americana that I can’t resist recording. Some of the photographs are reminiscent of the types of scenes Walker Evans captured back in the 1930s. Is there a difference. Not really. Just a matter of time and recognition. Also, using color as opposed to black-and-white makes these photographs more contemporary, if no less poignant.
