My new books are due out together in April. This was a real neat job to do, especially the photography of the butterflies which I really enjoyed. I hope they have success out there in the wild world of publishing.
My book THE ART OF BUTTERFLY GARDENING will be out in the spring from Skyhorse Publishing. The second shot is more like an old-fashioned photo, a throwback to the old days of butterfly gardening in England. The third was just for fun. How do you make a self-portrait interesting?
David (signing the book) with his publisher Gordon Goff at a book party in Santa Monica last night. A few celebrities were there, but this was the main show. And finally, one with Dave and me, and the book.

I took this shot of a camper as I turned to my right while photographing Yosemite Falls on 5/29/09.The Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau is a great organization dedicated to promoting recreation in Madera County, California, and Yosemite National Park. I’m proud to be associated with this group, which publishes the Visitors Guide each year.
